Our mission

Our History

Community Literacy Events & Enrichment Program was founded to bridge the gap in literacy and enrichment programs for families in underserved areas.

We are dedicated to increasing literacy & social-emotional learning (SEL) in underserved, minority communities using sport as a motivator. We integrate education and sport to provide children with the tools they need to grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

    1. Equity & Access – Every child, regardless of background, deserves quality enrichment programming and enrichment opportunities.
    2. Holistic Development – Learning extends beyond the classroom. We focus on social-emotional growth, literacy, and sports to shape well-rounded individuals.
    3. Community-Centered Impact – We work directly in under-resourced communities, tailoring programs to meet their unique needs.
    4. Empowerment Through Sport & Education – Tennis is not just a game—it’s a tool for learning discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Our organization is led by a passionate and dedicated team of educators, professionals, coaches and community leaders who are united in their commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
